Refund policy

Core Lumen Consulting (Pty) Ltd offers paid programming consulting: technical assessments, advisory sessions, and scoped implementation. Fees are agreed in writing after inquiry. This policy explains refunds and cancellations.

Cooling-off (direct marketing)

If you engaged us after unsolicited direct marketing from us, the Consumer Protection Act may give you five business days to cancel from conclusion of the transaction. For inquiries you initiate after finding us through advertising, confirm applicability with us when signing — typical engagements here start with your contact to us.

Before work starts

If you cancel after paying a deposit but before we begin scheduled work, we refund the deposit minus reasonable administrative costs already incurred, unless your engagement letter states otherwise.

After work has started

Fees for work already performed, delivered reports, or completed advisory hours are non-refundable. Milestone payments for implementation work are non-refundable once work on that milestone has started.

Rescheduling advisory sessions

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least one business day notice. Late cancellations may be charged as delivered time if the slot cannot be reallocated.

No-shows

If you miss a confirmed advisory session without notice, the booked time may be billed in full.

How to request a refund

Email info@core-lumen.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method where possible within fourteen business days.

Disputes

We aim to resolve concerns directly. You may refer disputes to relevant consumer bodies where the CPA allows.
