Programming consulting from Core Lumen Consulting centres on backend code review and refactoring. We do not list fixed product tiers; each engagement is shaped after we understand your repositories and constraints.

Technical assessment

A time-boxed review of the services and modules you nominate. We document coupling, failure modes, test coverage gaps, and refactor sequencing. You receive a written report suitable for engineering leads and delivery managers.

Typical inputs: repository access (read-only), architecture notes, and recent incident summaries if available. Production credentials are not required for the first pass.

Advisory sessions

Working meetings on a specific decision — splitting a monolith module, choosing a migration strategy, or defining acceptance tests around a legacy boundary. Sessions are booked in hour blocks once scope is clear.

Scoped implementation

Hands-on refactoring within modules you approve. We work in branches you control, with checkpoints for review. Boundaries are defined in writing before coding starts so neither side assumes open-ended build work.

Fees and engagement letters

Scope, timeline, and fees are set out in a written quote once we understand your repositories. Starting prices are not published here because backend estates vary widely. If we are not the right fit, we say so early.
